Hi everyone,

sorry for a long time of no updates since the Song of the Month =)

Anw, today i am going to share some meaningful things to all Students that i had learnt from PEP-G today =D

And from today's PEP-G, it reminds me of the Devotion from Celeste's Blog that is very meaningful that i hope to share with all of you too for those who duno abt it (sorry celeste for "borrowing" it and Thanks =P)

"There was this old widow who has three children. She was down to her last few cents already and didn't know what to do. So she prayed for three hours and asked God what to do with these few cents. AND, she felt that God was directing her to go to this bigggggg supermarket with 122 counters. That place was huge! So she took a trolley and began loading stuff into it, groceries and neccessities that will last for at three months. Then after finish loading all the stuff into her trolley, she felt that she had to go to counter number 7. So she went there. There was a woman in front of her. The widow fingered the 22 cents in her pocket nervously...

When the lady infront finished buying her stuff, the cashier said, "This counter is closed, i'm going out for lunch. You might want to go to the other counters." But the widow said,"No, my Father told me to come here. I must stay here." So the cashier left and after lunch, he came back. After the cashier finished scanning all the items in the cart, there was an announcement. The shop manager said,"WE ARE CELEBRATING OUR 7TH ANNIVERSARY! The person that is currently queing at counter 7 will have all the stuff that he/she buys for free!" The widow smiled and thanked the Lord."

anw, today i am going to share 3 points that i feel us a Student should noe abt it our life..but before that, i hope that you all can read Matthew 6:25 - 34 =)

well, how can we stop worrying and start living in our live in the midst of our studies, our exams, our projects, etc..

And i had 3 easy points for all of you to take note of to apply it to your life..

1: Focus on the fact that God will see you through anything, not on the bad things that might happen.
==> The Lord will bring us through every moments even when we are down and not just through bad things that might happened to us. He will also bring us through our studies, our projects, our exams, through happy moments and through every moments in our life.

He is there all the time for us and not just there when bad things happen to us.

So why do we just pray to Him when there is a problem?

The Lord is always there for us. Hence, we can talk to Him anytime, anywhere. Even times when we are happy, we can thank Him and not just wait for troubles to happen or bad things to happen and come and pray to Him and hope that He can help you, etc.

I think this point is quite a straight forward explaination. =)

Let's move on to our 2nd point,

2: Focus on what is unseen, rather than what is seen.
==> This mean that we should focus our lives on what we can let people remember us eternally and not on materials things.

When we leave this world, people will not remember us for what Car we drive, what Grades we have, what School we go to, how Rich we are, what house we Stay in, etc..

But people will remember acts like, so-and-so had brought me to Christ, so-and-so had shared with me, so-and-so had grow me to what i am today, or so-and-so had helped me along the way, etc..

This is what people can remember us eternally.

Our life on earth is just a small little tiny dot on the whole of Eternal life we have.. so why don't we make it meaningful?

We can be a Christian and live a normal life till we leave the world or we can be a Christian that do the true purpose of God till we leave the world =)

Now, let's move on to our last point of the day,

3: Focus on the fact that God is in control, not on your inability to control.
==> For this point, i will use this following testimony to share with you all and hope that itself will explain it all to you on this point:

"There is this China Worker that work in Singapore and he is a Christian who attend one of the Local Church in Singapore. One day, before he go for a Christmas Service, he had only left with $5 in his wallet and he decided to use that $5 he left with to buy Rice back after the Christmas Service for his month of eating supply.

Suddenly, his sister called him and said that she is bringing along 4 China friends of hers to the Church. And he thinking that he as the Host since it is also his sister's friend, he should treat them to a drink.

So he was thinking that he only left with $5, and if he treat, he won't have enough money to buy his rice. But he had prayed and decided to go and treat his sister's friends drinks and will come back home after the Christmas Service to borrow money $5 from his Room-mates to buy the Rice.

So after meeting up, they head to the Church. And during the Service, there was a game and out of hundreds over people, 3 was selected and this China Worker was one of them. And after the game end, each of them are able to select from the 3 prize a gift for playing and to his surprise, the prize was a RICE! Yes, it was a Rice and guess what, the rice is worth $10, more than the rice he want to buy and also now he need not borrow from his friend anymore.

And later on, he shared this as a testimony during his church's Thanksgiving Service. And he praise the Lord for the miracle that He had provided him on."

So in conclusion, is it going to be God? or Grades? who you choose in your life?

Or you too can balance it up too.

Some people will say that Christian is actually the most busiest people ever. Why? Cause they have to go to Prayer Meeting, CG Meeting, Meetings (if you are in the Committee or Ministry), Youth Service, etc..and upon all these, you still have to go to school and also to studies.

Some people can think that we can just study now and after all of our studies, when we work, then we come and serve and worship the Lord.

Well, this is also a can thought, but do you think this is a right choice to make?

Well, i won't say it is a right or wrong choice. The decision is up to you.

Do hope you all still remember the 40 Days of Purpose's learning. Whatever we do in our lives is Worshipping the Lord and Glorify the Lord in whatever we do. So why don't we use our Studies too to glorify God. Do well in our studies yet we still can have a balance time to study His word?

Exams period is a time where the attendance rate in a Youth Ministry drops. People will rush to do their final revision for their exams. But if we had study regularly, why rush to the last moment? Going to church can give us the encouragement from Friends and even through the message too.

Well, like mentioned, i am not here to force you to do anything but just saying that our life is a Choice. Whatever we do is a choice and the choice is up to you =)

This is also our theme of the year. Walking with Jesus.

Do hope that our walk with the Lord will be strong even through times of difficulty.

Think that is all for today.

I do hope that this updates will help you all up =)

TO BE CONTINUE . . .
