Day 3

Rest and shine..time for the next day program. Woke up as usual then went to meet the rest and we head on to the 1st day program!

My 1st day as the Station Marshal! :)

and to also get to know my assistant to the station, aunty adeline.

when i reach the entrance of the zoo..wow..there were so many kids..and we later heard that the bus broke down for the rest meeting at palawan and school. Hence, steph and sarah thot of ice-breaker games with the kids that are at the zoo already.

The entrance of the zoo is yet to open hence we spent all the time outside the zoo's entrance..

we played several games. One of the game is, what's the time My Wolf. And Steph..haha..she keep getting caught by the kids =P

it was so fun..then the rest came..

Then the official program begin!

And omg! the door of the zoo is STILL not OPEN!

finally while we were playing the introduction, they opened.

The game marshals -- joshua, me and joyce. Gathered and rush to our various stations.

Man, i think i was bitten by lots of mosquitoe!

ouch!

well..waited for a while, then the 1st group came.

And later the 2nd came. We played. It was kinda messy but i manage to handle it :)

After that, Aunty Bee Ngoh came and told me that i will be a Group Leader from the next day on.

I am shocked! But it seems like the goal-setting from the day 1 was answered. My chance to interact with the kids :)

After the event, we had our debrief and we head back to the hotel. Before that we had a great lunch (introduced by Daniel)..but actually before that, we waited for em at the lobby of the hotel. Till later, we noe that they are actually at the makan place liao!

We rushed there and ate our lunch and we return back and me, joyce p and joshua head for our briefing for group leader as the next day onward we are group leaders.

while the rest, packing the stuff for the next day plus phonecalling.

After that, we learned some card games that can be a good tool for ice-breaking.

After that, we went for our dinner.

And me, daniel and joshua head for A&W! yummy!? haha..

well after that we ate at some thai resturant.

then head back to the hotel and had our devotion.

The 3 of us (daniel, joshua and myself) are leading it for tonight.

After tat, wash up and then joshua felt hungry and hence, me and daniel accompanied him to the nearby 7-11 and we bought breads for the next day while joshua bought for supper.

After tat, we head back to the hotel and we ate and chat abit then we fell a sleep.

Day 4

The next day, woke up as usual. And today's feeling is different. I am going to be a group leader. i am happy yet excited and scare too =P

Well, when we reach the zoo, we splited and played the card games with the kids.

We had lots of funz.

After that, the rest came and we played some ice-breaker games with them. It was fun. Then we split to our various group.

My group, there was only 2 people out of 5 or 6 that turn out! omg?!

My team merged with Deborah's team (a new friend that i know from wesly church).

I was happy as at first it was suppose to be solo but now i got another group leader to help out.

Throughout the game, i think deborah kinda let me lead the team :) and she too helped me along la.

We had our funz together with the kids who were veri entu and fun to be with!

We had a brainy kid in our team. She answered like most of the answers we need and she kinda noe wat to do, stuff like tat! omg! haha..amanda was so smart! but the rest of the team members wasnt that bad. They are veri entu too :) i love them man! I think deborah too :D

Well our team got 2nd place out of 22 teams :)

YEAH!

hehe..i am so happy for my kids and i think deborah was happy too as she didnt manage to win the day b4 ..hehe..

well..after tat.. we had our usual debrief and we head back to the hotel.

We had our lunch at some nonya place and then after that we had back to the hotel. It was basically a r&r afternoon for us. Daniel, Sarah and Joyce K have to rehearsal for their christmas program while the rest?

Me and joshu went to sleep =P while joyce p and jenna went to shop!

Poor Christa, she was asked to make the phonecalling :(

Well, after that, we met up and had our dinner at KFC. Man their chicken is different from ours! it was better! omg! haha delicious! yummy!

After that, we went to the supermarket and then head back for devotion.

this last nite is by joyce k and sarah.

I can honestly tell u..the 4 nite's devotion, the worship style was different..

It was so cool la.

Anw, we had a great time thanksgiving and sharing. We also took out the goal we set on day 1 and evaluate on it. We all had a great time sharing.

There was joy and tears. Well it was a good time la. We all noe lots of stuff abt one another. Especially mr joshua =X haha

for us to know and for you to find out. but i can sae is a team secret =X hehe

well after that we went back and rest and slp.

Day 5

Finally! It is the LAST DAY!

I was very sad! in my mind, it is saying, omg! last day liao and last day of leading the group. i was so sad.

Now i noe why the cgl i noe in tm (my youth ministry), so cant bare to leave their members. I only be a group leader for a day and i miss it..imagine them?

well, today we woke up earlier and head to some place to pick up some kids. the kids didnt come and we head to the zoo.

When we reach, we started with the ice-breaker and split ourselves to the various groups and then i met mine and today is chinese speaking day man!

All are the campers from salvation army. Thank Lord, i hav an assist who is also from salvation army but she noe abit of english and can help me abit with the translation.

We then head and play.

After that, we gathered and guess wat..we won again..and sadly, it is still 2nd place out of 22 teams.

But better then nothing right?

We had the funz :)

After that, we had our final debrief and saying our byes to the team wesly (malacca) and head back to the hotel and had our lunch then after that, the 6 of us (steph, joyce p, jenna, joshua, myself and a girl from team wesly (singapore), deborah) head to the terminal and head back to singapore.

We had our last a&w rootbear FLOAT! and head to the coach and head home.

Along the way, slpt till we reach singapore side, steph, joyce and jenna took the public bus while me, joshua and deborah continued our journey to the terminal.

Along the way, i chated with deborah and noe of some misunderstanding between our team and the team from wesly.

But i had cleared it out with her and she noe it too :)

well after that, we reached and me and joshua waited with her for her dad and later, her dad brought us for dinner at parkway and he drove us back home.

And yes, home sweet home!
