Shutter Island
The movie i think can have 2 conclusion:
- He is really Teddy and the Hospital is basically making him think he is Andrew. They purposely bring a normal person to the place and somehow, "brainwash" the person to think they are another person and "input" memories to a person.
If you notice at the start of the movie, his "partner" when told to surrender their gun, he didn't even know how to remove it from his belt -.-" So this can mean its a plot to bring Teddy to the island.
And also, how to explain the ship thingy in the beginning?? I dun think is an illusion and its real.
- He is really an insane guy, Andrew who really keep repeating the cycle like what the doctors say. If this is the real thing, then why do everyone in the whole island is playing RPG!!!!!!!! All for 1 person?? how lame -.-
And yes, if you going to read the movie summary (from wiki), you will think and confirm, he is Andrew. So yar, lets stick to the answer in wiki then =(
But even for wiki, there is a GREATEST loophole, which i just explained to my friend, Richard..
The movie summary do sound like Teddy is Andrew BUT how come the summary didnt state so?? They state him as Teddy and never even have a slash (/) for Andrew. And Andrew is another person!
This is so so so confusing! I think what the director want is to let us conclude the movie on our own. And these 2 (like i mentioned above) are the only conclusion towards the movie..
HOW LAME!!!!
